Q: I am nervous about going by myself...

It is one of the most common concerns, which is totally understandable. You are most nervous until you get there. Once you are there, your hosts will introduce you to one or two others and ensures you feel comfortable for the event. It's a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. And remember if you are nervous so is everyone else! The time goes very quickly once the Speed Dating starts. Or you are always welcome to attend with a friend.

Q: How many people will I meet ?

There  are usually 7-15 dates on average depending on the date and plan.

Q: What is the success rate? Does everyone get a match?

75-85% of all guests have a match and often several matches.

Q: Why should I try speed dating?

Dating  is a numbers game. Speed dating is a great way to meet many potential dates on the same night, in a fun, relaxed environment. It is said that you can tell the person right away, if you’re interested in someone or have chemistry with that person romantically. Rather than wasting your time on a long, drawn-out date when you already know that you don’t have connection with the person, speed dating allows you to meet multiple people in a short period of time.

 

Q: What should I wear ?

Although it is what's inside that counts, first impressions are very important. Dress to impress but wear what you feel comfortable in. Some people will be coming straight from work so suits are fine, and of course casual to semi-formal attire are fine also.

Q: What time do the events start and finish?

It generally starts at around 7pm and finishes around 9pm.

 

Q: Can I bring a friend?

Yes, just make sure that your friend has been booked in to the event and you let us know that you want to come together because not everyone who registers gets an invitation to every speed dating event.

Q: Ok but What do I talk about ?

You are given 7 mins each date to have a conversation. You will be surprised how quickly each Speed Date goes, so running out of topics is usually not a problem. We have a list of Ice Breakers so feel free to take a look.

Q: What if it was below my expectations or I was not happy with the service?

No problems. If you are not satisfied, we will gladly offer you a FULL REFUND for your ticket, so you have nothing to loose. 

 

Q: What is your Cancellation Policy?

We ask for 72 hours notice and will refund the full amount to your nominated account. This gives us enough time to find additional daters to participate in the event. Day of cancellations and/or "no-shows" do not receive a credit.
